No Flag

267 | 2025

The first Polish representative of EBM returns with a new release titled No Flag. It is an uncompromising sonic manifesto – industrial rhythms meet the raw energy of EBM and the mechanical coldness of contemporary electronics – intense, pulsating, and full of tension.

No Flag is also an experiment at the boundaries between human and machine – some of the sound structures, rhythmic sequences, and textures were created with the help of generative algorithms and AI-based systems, treated not merely as tools but as co-creators. Alongside the music, the band continues to develop the visual side of their work – generative images and animations created with AI have long been an integral part of their aesthetic, amplifying the listener’s experience and forming a coherent, multidimensional artistic language. The result is an album that merges the rawness of human expression with the cold precision of code.

Wieloryb, formed in 1994 in the Tricity area, has always forged its own sonic language – rooted in the European industrial tradition while simultaneously experimenting with rhythm, form, and new technologies. Early releases such as 1, 2, and 3 have been reissued by Requiem Records – bringing the original energy of the 1990s scene to new audiences. Today, the band returns in full force, continuously working on new recordings – presenting material that redefines their style and comments on the contemporary world – a world without flags, divisions, or boundaries between human and machine.
