Hiroszyma
272 | 2026
Hiroszyma bases its music on minimalist rhythmic structures, raw synthesizers, and repetitive sequences that build tension without resorting to excess. This approach is close to the aesthetic of Boy Harsher—where simplicity of form does not mean restraint of expression, and a steadily maintained pulse becomes the main carrier of emotion. The tracks unfold slowly, often relying on subtle shifts in timbre and dynamics, which gives them a hypnotic, almost trance-like quality.
Room 237 is the second album of the solo project by Grzegorz Szyma, previously associated with the band Das Moon. The record is built primarily on analog synthesizer sounds combined with a minimalist, mechanical pulse. The whole evokes associations with a nocturnal, club-oriented context, but functions just as well as material with a distinctly cinematic character—cool, detached, and stripped of narrative obviousness.
