Sensational recordings from a tape found at the bottom of the Baltic Sea!
The album that completes the trilogy of a Polish EBM legend – never before released or presented – a true 1997 firecracker!

Until now, Polish EBM fans only knew Wieloryb’s first two albums from the ’90s. 1 and 2, released in 1994 and 1995 respectively, made a major impact on the domestic electro and industrial rock scene. Both were recently reissued by Requiem Records to enthusiastic fan reception, as the original cassette and CD releases of the Tricity trio have long been out of print.

But the story of Wieloryb in the 1990s doesn’t end there! In 1997, the band recorded the third part of the trilogy – again as the duo Paweł Kmiecik / Robert Suszko. The material was never released and lay in Suszko’s archive for over a quarter of a century… until now. We finally get seven new-old tracks from the Electro Body Music pioneers from the Vistula. One could say this is the perfect closure of the trilogy, and at the same time the most accessible of all three albums.

Of course, there are still powerful, uncompromising tracks, but the duo also devoted more space than usual to calmer compositions, revealing influences of trip-hop and even rhythmically-driven ambient. The pair continue to nod to seasoned listeners by sampling electronic alternative stars of the era, including The Young Gods. Wieloryb’s style had clearly matured, with distinctive sounds and compositional elements making their work entirely original.

III is therefore a must-have for the band’s fans, as well as anyone seeking a perspective on the state of Polish EBM in the ’90s. After all, heavy dance music is experiencing a renaissance today, increasingly inspiring a new generation of creators.
