Archival recordings from cassette tapes of the most original post-punk underground group of the 1980s. The Poznań band's album is a real treat for fans of minimal wave and dark post-punk sounds. The group "Bexa Lala do służby muzyce trudnej” which translates to “Bexa Lala to serve difficult music" was created by Cezary Ostrowski, Mariusz Polowczyk and Tomasz Chojnacki. Named in 1983, but existing since '81 under other names (Leo Patett, Taz, Hagen Baden 235, Clockwork Orange). The name was invented by Kamil Sipowicz, but he sold it to two bands. The second band has died. Only the real Bexa Lala is left.

Bexa Lala, who has always been associated with Poznań, came up with the following in order: music sharing, new swing, intelligent mechanical music, yass laptop. The group sent their productions in the form of cassette tapes, with handmade covers, in the form of gifts to friends in Poland and in the world. Only in this way did they become available because the group never performed live. None of the founding members knew the music or could play any instrument. It was the purest water punk rock band. These were also the first cassettes that the band sent into the world: "Jestem Polakiem", "Hey, hey", "Loretta", "Concerto Punk", "Lubov".

The band quickly developed their own style, called the new swing. It consisted of playing sad, melodious songs with seemingly childish lyrics and a constant search for new arrangement and sound solutions. The group became interested in the media: the press, Polish Television and the Third Program of Polish Radio. Several articles, radio and television programs, and the band's own publications were created. The "New Swing", "Where is the General" and the video "Strength Vector" were created, but they were lost, as was the mother tape "Where is the General." They were probably taken without receipt during martial law by SB officers during the search, as potentially dangerous to the prevailing social order.

The group went down to such a deep underground that they began to create only for themselves. Materials have stopped being sent. The trace of Bexa Lala has been lost for many years, but some archives were created. It was a period of intelligent mechanical music. His best representation is "Elephant", combining the three main phases of mature "bexalism": from new swing, through intelligent mechanical music, leading to laptop punk with techno and jasu elements, which appeared on the albums "Sukow" and "Blades".

The first years of the new millennium are the triumph of mature Bexa Lala. Starting from "Ostrz", cooperation begins with known and respected luminaries of the Polish music scene. This album is the fruit of cooperation with Mikołaj Trzaska - a brilliant saxophonist and admirer of uncontrollable sound. The meeting of jass and intelligent mechanical music resulted in the creation of an extraordinary album - the first Polish Internet CD, made available to listeners for free download from the web. Shortly after, "Czołgaj się" was created, in cooperation with Marcin Świetlicki. A completely new adventure with the first "non-bexal" vocalist. These records are indeed signed with the names of the creators, not the name of the band, but it would be a sin not to include them in the output of Bexa Lala. The same applies to "The Land of Pain", created in cooperation with Kora. After 2000, Bexa Lala started to take advantage of the benefits of modern technology, and such records as "Sukow" or "Trip" are the best proofs of that.
