Première is a Karolina Mikołajczyk & Iwo Jedynecki’s Duo's phonographic debut. It is the world's first album with new music performed by a violin-accordion duo. It consists of works by Polish composers: Miłosz Bembinow, Barbara Kaszuba, Andrzej Karałow, Bartosz Kowalski, Edward Sielicki, Ignacy Zalewski; and foreign artists such as: Graciane Finzi, Arvo Pärt, Rodion Szczedrin, Yuji Takahashi.

We have the opportunity to perform all these songs at concerts many times. The lively and favorable reactions of the audience encouraged us to record them on one album. Its idea is to present the music of composers living and creating in modern times, showing the diversity of styles and compositional techniques of contemporary music. The songs dedicated to us are an important part of the album.
