C. H. District is a project of Mirosław Matyasik, existing since 1998, combining industrial sounds with modern productions under the sign of intelligent electronics. Strong, dynamic beats, recurring melody lines and broken rhythms will satisfy the most demanding connoisseurs of the musical experiment. One shouldn't expect from C.H. District a traditional, monotonous and easily digestible version of techno - in the project compositions, the familiar elements of dance music are radically deconstructed, classic beat constructions are transformed into an unconventional, glitch-laden rhythmic concoction, and heavy bass lines are marked by sonic experiments. It is spatial music, based on ambient landscapes, complemented by a whole range of often surprising grinds, noises, feedback, clicks and rhythmic crackles. Here you can hear the influences and elements of all kinds of electronic, technoid industrial varieties, you can notice the structure and atmosphere of the best varieties of what is used to be called new sounds. Music by C.H. District is full of originality and ingenuity, enchants with clarity and attention to every detail, where every sound has its clearly designated place.
