First Human Ferro
33 | 2011 | out of print
Aleksander Szargiej (also known as Yuri Kondratiuk) was one of those passionate inventors who did not hesitate to risk everything to pursue the mission of building a better future for mankind.
Szargiej belongs to the group of scientists who were the first to predict the conquest of space. Outstanding but ridiculed, these dreamers were forced to wage an exceptionally hard battle to defend their beliefs. Thanks to his genius and unconventional approach, Szargiej is now one of the recognized astronautics theorists. The name of a self-taught engineer has been exchanged for decades on the same breath with famous scientists such as Ciołkowski, Cander or Koroliow.
The Ukrainian project First Human Ferro, led by Oleg Kolada, paid his compatriot a long-due tribute by composing the album presented by us. The skillfully arranged stylistic assemblage of dark ambient and early electronic music resulted in both moving and hypnotic musical illustrations for an interstellar journey. The mastering was undertaken by the Italian ambient art master Vestigial. The album was released in a silver ennobled, varnished A5 format digipack, conceptually designed by Marcin Łojek. The album is available in a limited series of 500 copies, by New Nihilism and friendly labels Triangle and Requiem.
