The original idea for this album was to create a larger whole from very small musical fragments. It is to be a mosaic, which, however, forms a picture from a further perspective. The disc contains 96 short, aphoristic songs, each of which lasts only about 30 seconds.
The author used a small instrumental composition: a quartet composed of two wind instruments and two string instruments, and electronic instruments.
The initial idea seems unusually original and unheard of in music associated with jazz. However, during the joint work, the band decided to choose from a larger number of recorded fragments those that have the least relationship with jazz. Short aphoristic compositions were created in classical European music of the twentieth century before the rules of dodecaphony were formulated. They were written by the "classics" of Viennese expressionism: Schoenberg, Webern. Writing songs that last less than a minute today may seem - obviously - a reference to that work. It is the abandonment of any traditional musical form, and at the same time an attempt at an extremely laconic but finite expression. Such a song can hardly even be called a musical "statement". Rather, it is merely a suggestion, an attempt to create an impression and an impulse to think about music. Placing improvisation between such sounds is an experiment. The soloist is put in the role of not conducting the music or deciding about her character, but rather of a mere commentator. An improvising musician can only add something, his sounds can only reflect a personal association that evokes the sounds of haiku.
The idea of showing each of these very short songs in three different versions seems very interesting. Through repetitions, the entire 33-part cycle becomes a whole. Different instrumentation makes the music more colorful, and the introduction of very short improvisations adds lightness and makes everything even more fleeting. The successful attempt to combine acoustic music with electronic, "artificial" colors is a considerable factor. A very original musical idea!
