Zdzisław Piernik is an outstanding tubist, soloist and interpreter of contemporary music. He has worked with many composers, his contribution to the promotion of Polish music in the world is considerable. Rafał Iwański and Rafał Kołacki from the HATI duo explore percussion and improvised music, based on the sound of acoustic instruments, mainly ethnic from around the world.

This is a meeting of three experienced instrumentalists representing various environments and generations, in whose work many common threads appear. In their search for sound phenomena, they are always eager to use prepared instruments and recover acoustic objects. In 2017, the trio recorded a joint studio material for the album, titled "Avant-garde out of Poland" by Requiem Records with the support of the National Film Archive of the Audiovisual Institute (September / October 2018).
