The album is devoted to solo and chamber percussion music, arising from the musical expression of one of the greatest composers of the 20th century - Iannis Xenakis.

I invited contemporary composers to collaborate, whose works fit into the model of xenakis' energetics, in which sharp blows, accentuation, polyphony and dynamic extremes play a superior role. Marcin Błażewicz - Xenakis' summer student, Dariusz Przybylski and Ignacy Zalewski - graduates of Marcin Błażewicz's composition class, under the influence of broadly understood inspiration by Greek music, composed works intended for large-scale multi-percussion installations. Performing and recording them was a real challenge for me. The album includes the following songs: "Idmen b" by Iannis Xenakis, "Hyperion" by Dariusz Przybylski, "Tonisteon" by Ignacy Zalewski and "Ineffabilis" by Marcin Błażewicz. Aggressive, explosive, predatory, relentless music ... wonderful ...

"... The album shows the enormity of work of one drummer, who attempted to record difficult works, both in terms of working on them and their reception by the audience. This type of expression does not leave anyone indifferent - because the tonisteon, from the Greek : "You have to emphasize" is one of the main principles and - I dare say - the advantages of Leszek Lorent's wide range of interpretations, which does not mean that it is subtle. And finally, we need to emphasize, because in a way this album is about noise. About what's in it, what's before and what's behind it. About what the subconscious mystery power is about. percussion instruments both in the acts of unrestricted sound explosions, and in what is between them. Between the lines ... "
