If we assume that the albums have their own keywords, then in the case of NEMEZIS production it is "passive observation". The world emerges from these 10 songs, but it is without rush and directness like from behind the glass. On "Whispers from the Behind the Window" life goes on a little slower, sometimes it rains, sometimes a pair of someone's eyes are staring at us. This album even has its own time - despite the fact that it lasts over an hour, its sounds always enchant that short moment of late afternoon when the day has not completely surrendered to the night, and the darkness is just beginning to spread over the world. At the same time, as if denying the fleeting nature of the material, every minute of this music shines through careful thought and many hours of hard work. There are few Polish albums on which it would be more audible that the seemingly simple sounds are the result of a painstaking creative process. And however daring it may sound, with the help of "Whispers from Behind the Window" Łukasz Pawlak and Maciej Staniecki are able to biosphere up the BIOSPHERE. Not that this is their main goal - they are just observing the world after all.

Who would call Whispers From Behind The Window as a relaxing music CD would be absolutely wrong. And although probably many of the listeners will rest with this album, the work of NEMEZIS goes far beyond the scope of musical psychoanalysis. Listening to Whispers From Behind The Window, according to the title of the album, I look through the window of my metropolitan hollow. From the height of the fifteenth floor, there is a view of what looks like from an alien planet. Just like on the dust jacket of the album, our wonderful blocks of flats in the black of a winter evening glisten with a thousand lights looking mysterious and futuristic. But ŁUKASZ PAWLAK and MACIEJ STANIECKI created something more than just a post-industrial mosaic.

The group provided the listeners with a little over an hour trip through sleepy, psychedelic-ambient landscapes, stretching like a view from the highest floor of the Palace of Culture. Subtly balancing the sonic proportions, the Nemesis sets off with us on a night journey over the roofs of a dormant metropolis. Somehow I have no doubt that this is happening in a big city. There are too many sound particulars in the duo's compositions for me to think about changing the setting. Somewhere late pedestrians are passing by, a tram passes in the distance, a transformer is humming around the nearest corner, the voices of amused girls are heard from behind closed windows. Added to this is the sound of footsteps wandering the horizon of the moon and the rustle that accompanies the journey across the sky of ink clouds. Nemesis neatly mixes the style, moving from ambient trances to long-winded darkambients, industrial scratching entering the background of a soft, dance beat, and treating acoustic guitars as an element controlling the bluntness of ambient sounds. The music is very plastic, cushion-warm, painted with light strokes of a soft brush. It is impossible to precisely define the nature of Nemesis' achievements, one can only try to convey the mood of "Whispers From behind the Window". When it comes to electronic instrumental music, this album is a real gem. Nemesis is a group of the Spear class.

The NEMEZIS duo has created a whole gallery of images based on Whispers From Behind The Window. These incredibly vivid and imaginative sounds are full of human associations, subconscious images or musical references. Listening to them I have in front of me both the harsh landscape of the Norwegian Arctic Circle (BIOSPHERE) and delicate schools of fish in the undersea oceans (BRIAN ENO). I see cosmic galaxies with red dwarfs and glowing supernovae (GLOBAL COMMUNICATION) and overflowing, bubbling, hot plasma in mysterious laboratories (THE ORB). Paradoxically, this minimalist album does not allow the listener to completely turn off. The modernly recorded sounds of the musical palette direct us to our inner self. Discover it.
