Anna Wandtke is an extraordinary violinist with an extremely expressive musical personality and sensitivity, which is reflected in her bold interpretations, the phenomenally noble sound of her violin, brilliant, simply perfect virtuosity and emotional authenticity.
Gifted with a virtuoso technique, the artist freely performs various musical concepts, guiding the audience through the magical world of sounds in the classical repertoire, but also with elements of jazz, flamenco or gypsy music.
She toured Poland and the world - USA, South America, China, Japan, France, Spain, Germany, England, playing together with the most outstanding artists of our time, including Roby Lakatos, Julian Rachlin, Renaud Capuçon, Yuri Bashmet, Maxim Vengerov, Joshua Bell, Sara Chang, as well as her compatriots, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Wojciech Rajski, Krzysztof Penderecki, Tytus Wojnowicz, Grzech Piotrowski, Sebastian Wypych, Krzysztof Herdzin, Robert Kabara and Karol Radziwonowicz.
She collaborated with such conductors as James Levine, Paavo Jarvi, Kurt Masur and Valery Gergiev.
Anna Wandtke's huge repertoire proves her versatility. She eagerly reaches for classic style, but is also boldly involved in combining classical music with other genres, including film music. Complemented by the stunning setting - lighting, video projection map of Sylwester Łuczak, her concert becomes a show in which the violinist invites her audience to search in the farthest recesses of her soul.
In 2016, she released her first solo album entitled "Violin Soul", in which she plays with the famous, legendary Hungarian gypsy violinist - Roby Lakatos. The album received many positive reviews. Anyone who appreciates classical, film or gypsy music will love this album.
Anna Wandtke holds a PhD in music and is an adjunct at the Music Academy of Stanisław Moniuszko in Gdansk. She regularly conducts master classes in the country and abroad.
