The Blokowisko duo is co-created by Maciej Jurga (guitar, vocals) and Cezary Zieliński (keyboards, electronics), known for their work in Opus Elefantum Collective and projects such as Vysoké Čelo or Spopielony. The band's sounds are derived from the post-punk movements of the 1980s, and their music includes elements of many genres such as coldwave, dub, post-industrial, post-rock or even synthpop. Maciej and Cezary's debut took place in September 2018 - then they also released their first EP Blokowisko. So far, they have played over a dozen concerts in Poland, including supporting acts for Wczasy, Belgrado and Variete.
