Human Zoo

206 | 2021

"Human Zoo" is an album that deals with the subject of man as a being entangled in the machine of exploitation and cruelty, driven by his own weaknesses. The artists who live and work in San Francisco on a daily basis created an album, the starting point of which was Yeonmi Park's speech at the One Young World Summit in Dublin in 2014, during which she reported her escape from North Korea. A fragment of the then 13-year-old girl's statement was woven into into one of the songs. The music is set in the downtempo and trip-hop canon by Nika and Seb (years ago associated with the metal scene - Sparagmos and Rootwater).
