Traditional melodies from central and south-eastern Poland as well as my own compositions in surprising arrangements.
Through his own compositions and improvisations by five young musicians - students of renowned art academies in Poland and abroad, he tries to place it naturally in the context of contemporary instruments, and to confront it with the experiences of the musical language they use on a daily basis.
WanoWejta is made up of Lena Nowak (clarinet, cymbals, vocals), Albert Karch (drums), Marcin Sojka (percussion), Paweł Malinowski (keyboards), Krzysztof Baranowski (double bass, guitar). So far, the band has performed, among others in the Witold Lutosławski studio of the Polish Radio as part of the New Tradition festival.
