Podział gatunkowy

A psychedelic music drama of a popular science nature. It is a night journey into the fascinating world of owls living in our country.

The album “Sowy Polski - Podział Gatunkowy” ( "Owls of Poland - Division of Genres") is a psychedelic music drama of a popular science nature. It is a night journey into the fascinating world of owls living in our country. This album is an interdisciplinary project whose main idea is to present all species of owls living in Poland in an unusual way. Each piece of music, including this unique radio play, presents a different species of owl. The voice of the lector, painting the mysterious world of owls, is intertwined with the original music of Michał Szturomski. The text of the radio play, harmonizing with music and graphics, i.e. the species division of owls in Poland, was developed by scientists, respected ornithologists from the Owls Protection Association - Sławomir Niedźwiecki and Sławomir Rubacha.

A very important part of this project is the visual layer, intentionally correlated with the words and the music. The graphic and multimedia part of "Sowy Polski" was designed by two artists - Katarzyna Walentynowicz and Beata Dejnarowicz. The graphic part of the project, very extensive by the standards of a record publishing house, is an artistic impression on the anatomy of these fascinating, mysterious birds.
