Gorzycki & Dobie

Nothing

86 | 2015

The last, culminating part of the Gorzycki duo triptych. A surprising and spectacular finale of the intimate struggles of an outstanding Polish drummer.

After the well-received concert album Therapy, recorded in 2012 with guitarist Kamil Pater and the studio project Experimental Psychology - recorded in 2013 with the Norwegian violinist of Polish origin Sebastian Gruchot, the time has come for an album closing the intimate challenges of the Sing Sing Penelope, Ecstasy Project, Maestro Tritons, and Wild Jazz A-kineton drummer. This time, Gorzycki invited the London guitarist Jonathan Dobi (B-shops for the poor, Sonicphonics, Pieces of Brain) to cooperate.

The final, as it befits the final, is loud and spectacular. It is bold and decisive music, subordinated to the artist's new perspective on himself and art. Is it the “New Music”?
