A series that looks into the nooks and crannies of the Polish Radio Experimental Studio.
We are resuming - and in many cases releasing for the first time - recordings of the Polish independent scene. The artistic value of this work is invaluable, in many cases unknown - we have set ourselves the goal of saving the achievements of artists from the past years before the time is up.
A new publishing line of Requiem Records, which aims to present broadly understood contemporary classical music. The last few decades show that the richness of new music styles does not allow to easily classify creative phenomena, which is why the Opus Series will document a wide range of music currently being created: from compositions for classical instruments, through electronics, works with live electronics, improvisation, to new phenomena in the context of the musical art of bygone eras.
A series that aims to present music written before 1900, often in the context of music of the 20th and 21st century. Old music juxtaposed with contemporary works takes on new meanings, and contemporary compositions show their new face in the context of the works of the old masters.
Music for listeners who want to immerse themselves in the sound, find relief, stop time, breathe air, look into the depths of their soul, look for light in the tunnel, believe or seek. This is the series for you! Close your eyes, forget about problems, get lifted, rest, dream …
The development of jazz music is closely related to the development of phonography. The possibility of immortalizing music in the form of a recording caused a revolution in the perception of instrumentalists who had acquired the ability to improvise. They write the history of jazz, as opposed to classical music, which is the history of composers immortalizing their work primarily on paper.
New Requiem sublabel, the creation of which is aimed at the publication and promotion of recordings of broadly understood electronic dance music (ranging from nu-disco, re-edits, house, to techno).
