Lydian Series
The development of jazz music is closely related to the development of phonography. The possibility of immortalizing music in the form of a recording caused a revolution in the perception of instrumentalists who had acquired the ability to improvise. They write the history of jazz, as opposed to classical music, which is the history of composers immortalizing their work primarily on paper.
Recording contemporary jazz is like taking pictures of the world around us. In the Lydian Series we will present the most interesting "frames" improvised in the surrounding landscape.
